Brisbane is set to host one of the year’s most anticipated multicultural events—the second annual Empowering Migrants Expo, proudly organised by Bhartiya Samaj. Scheduled for Sunday, August 3, 2025, at the prestigious Brisbane City Hall, the event celebrates the contributions of migrants to Australia’s rich cultural fabric.
After a widely praised debut in 2024, the expo returns with an expanded lineup of cultural performances, community stalls, interactive exhibits, and a high-profile awards ceremony honouring exceptional migrant individuals and organisations.
This free, all-ages event aims to empower, inform, and inspire migrants, while showcasing the beauty of multiculturalism in Australia. The 2025 edition will also see increased participation from Queensland government departments, educational institutions, service providers, and local businesses.
